What are the limitations of UML?
« on: October 06, 2011, 01:44:45 AM »

Hi,
Looks like UML is suitable for a lot of things. What are the places/applications where UML is useless/inefective? What about SAP implementations? What about refactoring projects?

The hardest part is knowing that while you are missing them, you're probably not even the second think on their mind.

I would imagine refactoring wouldn't be the best use of UML.

One of my biggest hurdles in using UML, is the products that display the UML in an "intuitive" way. I emphasize the "intuitive", because you have to often walk down through many tree-like structures just to get to the core of what you want. (* insert angry face here *)
